From book clubs and group trainings to special events and study sessions, the library has a variety of meeting and study rooms available for patron use. The library's study rooms have capacities ranging from one to four individuals, while meeting rooms have capacities ranging from 16 to 120 people, depending on layout.
General Provisions
- All rooms must be vacated half an hour before closing time (7:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 4:30 p.m. Friday - Sunday)
- Meeting rooms can be reserved by individuals/groups up to once per month, up to three months in advance.
- Study rooms can be reserved for a maximum of two, two-hour periods per day, up to one week in advance.
- All individuals/groups must abide by library policies listed here during their reservation, including but not limited to the Behavioral Guidelines, Internet, Meeting Room, and Study Room Policies.
Meeting Room Fees
Meeting room fees are dependent on the group using the space and their activity. The definitions of various meeting types are:
- General Use: Meetings of a civic group, organization, nonprofit, or government entity.
- Special Event: Gatherings that serve to commemorate or celebrate. This includes receptions, open houses, reunions, showers, and parties.
- For-Profit: Meetings for businesses and companies. This also includes any reservation where a fee is charged or goods are sold.
Individuals/groups should select the meeting type that applies to their reservation as part of the library's Room Reservation Inquiry Form. The library will contact the room organizer once an inquiry has been reviewed should the reservation need to change categories.
